The 2026 BLET Members First slate is built on a simple belief: our Union is strongest when its members come first.

BLET members carry enormous responsibility every day. We move America’s freight and passengers, protect the communities we operate through, and perform skilled work that the railroads increasingly seek to cut, consolidate, or automate. Our Union must be every bit as determined to protect the people who perform that work.

The 2026 BLET Members First slate is committed to a stronger, more responsive BLET – one that fiercely protects our craft, fights for safer workplaces and a better quality of life, strengthens collective bargaining, and makes sure the voices of members are heard at every level of our Brotherhood.

We believe leadership is a responsibility, not a title. It means listening to members, communicating openly, standing together when the carriers come after our jobs and agreements, and never losing sight of who our union exists to serve.
